Livin' Proof

Not just an underrated album by the Stikmen, here's Livin' Proof of the greatest gig that never there was — courtesy of the very excellent Concert Ticket Generator at
www.says-it.com/concertticket/
We are excellent value at $91 (plus booking fee). This is what happens when you are bored, at work, on a Sunday afternoon.
I am also quite fond of the Samuel Jackson soundboard at

Minutes of fun for the whole family.

That's a big line up. The only reason I spotted it as fake is that Kubrick would surely be headlining.

also, I misspellt Kubrick as a canny way of disciplining them for forgetting to tape our bootleg from the mixing desk.

No, no. That is actually how you spell Kubric. Accuracy in spelling seems to be an oddly uncommon rock phenomenon. I have always wanted to go to a Def Leppard gig and throw a dictionary at them.

In which case, the blackboard writer at the Empress has spelled their name wrong on the board. How soul destroying would that be?

Have another look: it seems pretty good to me. A good thing too, as I've seen Kubric when they go all Samuel Jackson on somebody's ass and I'd hate to see them do it to the blackboard writer at the Empress.

thought I spied an errant K in there... but then I am blind as a bat and yet stubbornly disinclined to wear my glasses.
